Join the Polkadot Ambassador Program

If you want to become deeply integrated into the Polkadot community, join the Polkadot Ambassador Program!

By PolkadotJune 21, 2019

If you want to become deeply integrated into the Polkadot community, join the Polkadot Ambassador Program! Since its launch in 2019 the program has gone from strength to strength, and now has more than 2,000 members in over 50 countries worldwide.

Whether developers or non-technical enthusiasts, our ambassadors are all driven by the same desire to actively contribute to the success of Polkadot and Kusama. Working together, we are united in the goal to build and maintain a great community.

Who can join the Polkadot Ambassador program?

Everyone with a keen interest in the Polkadot ecosystem is more than welcome. The program is not just for developers, with many of our members contributing in other areas such as translation, events and education. Constantly evolving as our needs change, it’s a vibrant environment of proactive people. And you can be part of it!

Currently, the program is organised into six international working groups who collaborate on core topics such as advocacy, community moderation, content, developers, events, and localization.

Why join the Polkadot Ambassador Program?

On initially joining the Ambassador Program, you will become a candidate. This role is an introduction phase where you will learn how the community works, showcase your contributions, see what’s involved, and get to know the other candidates and ambassadors.

As a candidate, from day one, you will have the chance, very practically, to write the next chapter of Web3 by contributing to the success of Polkadot and Kusama. Contributing for the sake of being a contributor is its own great reward, but our current ambassadors also appreciate:

- Sharing knowledge and expertise

- Learning new skills

- Interacting with like-minded people

- Being the voice of the community

If you are ready to begin this journey, complete the application form to join the Polkadot Ambassador Program and be welcomed as a candidate. We are looking forward to meeting you!
